Couple of years ago we started to use Efficiency by Heart as a guiding tag line to help finding a balance between work and private life.
Efficiency is often associated with hard work, thoroughly detailed plans and schedules followed up on a minute to minute basis. However, in our context it is more of a methodology to sort out what is needed to do, and not. Time is most precious and we should be aware how we spend it.
“the heart dictates the conditions for what efficiency can be”
Heart means to be able to set your own pace. By doing that, we allow ourselves to be reflective and positive. We should listen more to ourselves and put less energy into what others think and do. Heart also means we should care about each other and the planet we live on. All in all, the heart dictates the conditions for what efficiency can be.
From tag line to implementation.
So how do we implement Efficiency by Heart in our daily work at Lagonda. Here are a few examples:
- Employees set their own work hours. We work remotely AND we meet freqently. And we allow for education during work hours.
- We never push a customer in a direction. We think long term and we always suggest the best solutions for you, whether it will be profitable for us or not. Simply put, we believe in Karma 😉
- Sharing is caring. Last year we sent a percentage of our profit to the Swedish Heart and Lung foundation to let science make further research and advancements in the field of heart and lung diseases.
